Cardboard, wood, steel, plastic, furniture stuffing, pallets, sound.
8'H x 8'W x 7.5'D
2014

"Vitruvian Nest" was made completely from appropriated material. each material was gifted, found, scavenged, or creatively acquired. The piece was scaled based on Leonardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man" to make it roughly equivalent to an average human bubble of physical space. The sculpture existed as an installation in which viewers could lay down and listen to a sound piece hidden in the pillows.
