This initial investigation into the Sites Unseen project is focused on signifying sites in my consistent surroundings in San Francisco. Sites were determined based on a simple framework that has continued to be implemented throughout the project. Sites display one or a combination of these traits: 1) Forgotten History - a site that holds cultural and historical significance that has been taken for granted or forgotten; 2) Rolled Over Exhibition Space: sites that have been used by street artists, held an infamous sign, or had a mural but has since been painted over; 3) Fleeting Open Space: a small section of open space, usually with a view, that is underutilized.
