Tim Kopra uses a multidisciplinary approach to illustrate altered perspectives of social and physical infrastructure. The language of architecture and history collide in his aesthetic, rooting the work in human forms and frameworks. Investigating the relationship between natural and man-made landscapes, he unpacks connections found in the ways spaces are used and the reasons they are created. Constructing works with found material, wood, and steel he creates sculptural spaces and installations that are often embellished with objects, elements of sound, and video. The works and spaces invite interaction with pieces that offer aesthetic rewards through small investigations.
